On Friday 6th March 2026, pupils from the Whinless Down Academy Trust proudly represented their schools at the Dover School Games Swimming Gala. Competing against a number of local schools, our swimmers showed outstanding determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the event.

We are delighted to announce that the Whinless Down Academy Trust finished 3rd overall in the Large School category – a fantastic achievement against such strong competition.

A huge well done goes to all of the children who stepped up to represent the school. Taking part in such a competitive gala requires courage, commitment and resilience. Whether competing in individual races or team relays, every pupil played an important part in the team’s success on Friday.

Congratulations to all our swimmers for representing the Whinless Down Academy Trust so well and for achieving such a fantastic result!
