Dover

This is our first year at school! The start of our school journey! In Dover Class we learn through our play, becoming creative and critical thinkers and active learners. We have so much fun learning inside and outside; in our mud kitchen, home corner, water area, maths areas, creative areas and literacy area. We are encouraged to become independent learners, who can solve problems and never give up!

Keep an eye out for our class curriculum letters, home learning ideas and photos of what we have been up to in class.

Our teachers are Mrs Vincent and Mrs Buddle and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Goodman.

Term 3

This term has been such an adventure.  We have loved learning about Julia Donaldson and lots of her books. We have been building a classroom display.

In drawing club we have explored 'The Gruffalo' and 'The Smeds and the Smoos'. Here are some examples of our wonderful work.

In Maths we have been exploring capacity and weight and learning lots about 6,7 and 8!

The most exciting activity this term has to be... THE CHICKS! We have loved learning all about the life cycle of a chick and watching the chicks grow.  We have been responsible rabbits and helped to feed, water and keep their brooder box clean.
